He lost his friend. || A story

"Unexplained Things"

This is a story of two friends who were together while schooling. With time they grew and had to choose different paths to grow. One of them went to other state to prepare for a competitive exams, other stayed there. There was a girl (it’s not about a love triangle) who falls in love with the guy who stayed, she too had done schooling with both of them.

She was in love with the guy who stayed and was a very good friend to the one who left. Focusing on the friends, they were such good friends that they never used to celebrate their birthdays without the other. But now as they were apart they were sad, one was calling the other but there were a lot of restrictions to do that, but still the other one came on his birthday flying from different state surprising his friend. The friendship was growing with time.

Then the boy who stayed too had to go to other state for his studies leaving the girl there. For both the boys friendship was the only thing they learnt to earn.

All the three were in new places with new friends around them. The boy whom the girl loved got few more close friends. And from when friendship started looking for gender before happening. I meant that another girl came into scene who was just a friend. But for the boy friends were always same as his family.

The girl started having issue with the boy and her new friend. And like another regular relationship it too started falling and a day came when it collapsed. But the girl decided to undo things and planned to visit the boy, before these planning’s the girl connected to other friend and shared her plans to fix the relation. So, the girl visits the boy both of them were happy as the girl’s planned worked. But as a surprise the other friend too appears there after 4 hours of the girl’s arrival. And after few moments when they started gossiping, they discovered that both the girl and the friend were leaving on  same date, via same train and what a coincidence on same compartment. The other boy was happy as the girl won’t be having any problem while returning home.

The very next night of their arrival, they were talking about their childhood friendship and the room got filled with emotion. Flowing with that emotion the boy decides to feed both of his guests by his own hand. When he started making them eat that moment was capture-able. I don’t think so that the boy will ever be able to forget this very moment.

And the day came when they had to say good bye. It was a bit dramatic like Indian daily soaps. But for them it was hard.

Year passed everything was running smooth now the girl was comfortable with boy’s new friend. But a situation came where again things got rough, it was about 2 in the night, when the girl was talking to the boy. Suddenly the girl receives a call from the other friend, just to poke the boy asked why is he calling you at this time, and she was like maybe he need some help. The boy cuts the girl phone and tries to connect but the friend but the friend never received his call nor replying to him messages. He kept on trying for few more days but no response. But then he got to know that the friend had a conversation with the girl and everything was normal.

After that day none of the friends spoke to each other, the boy kept on trying but still nothing from his friend’s side.

Few year later the relationship was over, and it was the boy’s birthday, he kept waiting for his friends call but it never happened, but he got to know that the girl and his friend are still talking and are friends as they were. They boy was not able to understand what has happened and why it happened.

He tried to remember his mistakes due to which he lost his friend but didn’t find one. Then he calmed himself saying welcome to the reality. But still whenever he remembers the day he fed them, with tears in his eyes he feels the collateral damage done to him. But still he miss him a lot.
